First Friday --> Second Friday

Since The Great Divorce is showing at Penn on the Second Friday of this month, I am going to make the executive decision to switch our First Friday prayer gathering and outing to the Second Friday of the month instead.  We will gather to pray at 6:00, catch the show and then grab a late dinner/dessert to so we can discuss the play.  Make note of this change in your calendars: First Friday is now Second Friday for the month of November: Friday, November 12th. 6:00 pm Prayer, 7:30 The Great Divorce, 9:00 Late Dinner/Dessert.  


The show is extremely well-done and is very thought provoking.  Friends who are English or Philosophy majors will be very interested in this.  If you are interested, you can read the book before you see the show!

Profugo

Yet another cool opportunity to hear what God is doing in the world & to partner with Him.  Daniel's boss is the founder of the non-profit, Profugo. They will be showing a documentary & discussion for anyone interested in international development. Consider attending & bringing a friend. Thursday, 11.11 from 7:00-9:00 at the VCC office (4523 Springfield Ave.).

If you are going to Greek Conference, pay careful attention to this email. If you aren't, it's not too late to sign up!

On Friday morning, meet in front of 3932 Spruce & Phi Psi at 11:00 am. Don't be late.  {If you are driving, you'll need to do whatever Chris needs you to do at Enterprise.}

We will be home Sunday evening around 7:00.


Pack 

• Halloween Costume (appropriate) 
• Bible, journal, pen 
• Toiletries & medications
• Bathing suit if you want use the indoor pool 
• Camera
• Music for the road trip
• Money: Cash for gas (Approx $10) & food. Also a means of paying your balance.
• Clothes: Bring warm clothes! High Temp: 50, Low Temp: 28!! Also, bring clothes for activities (rope courses, etc). People generally wear jeans & casual shirts for the seminars.

One Week!

Did you realize that our trip to the Adirondacks for Greek Conference is just one week away?! I am so excited for this trip...so far we have 12 Penn students registered to go, but I feel like a group of say, 20,  would be a lot more fun, don't you? So if you haven't signed up yet, register today! If you have a friend you want to invite, but haven't done so yet, what are you waiting for?

The More the Merrier

Do you have friends that attend one of these fine Ivy League institutions that also has Greek life? (Princeton, Brown, Cornell...) What about friends who are Greek at other fine northeastern universities (University of Delaware, Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell, Boston University, MIT, NYU...) If so, invite them to Greek Conference! The more the merrier.

This is the first northeastern Greek Conference and you are a part of building the momentum of Greek IV in the northeast...so get on it! Invite your friends from back home and have a good ole' high school reunion at Greek Conference!
