Since The Great Divorce is showing at Penn on the Second Friday of this month, I am going to make the executive decision to switch our First Friday prayer gathering and outing to the Second Friday of the month instead. We will gather to pray at 6:00, catch the show and then grab a late dinner/dessert to so we can discuss the play. Make note of this change in your calendars: First Friday is now Second Friday for the month of November: Friday, November 12th. 6:00 pm Prayer, 7:30 The Great Divorce, 9:00 Late Dinner/Dessert.
The show is extremely well-done and is very thought provoking. Friends who are English or Philosophy majors will be very interested in this. If you are interested, you can read the book before you see the show!

Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Never Go To Small Group
Top 10 Reasons Why Should Never Attend a Greek IV Small Group
10. You don't like Laura Johnson's desserts and can't stand being in the same room as them.
9. You are a social recluse and don't want to meet people from other other Greek chapters.
8. You don't think Elliott is at all funny.
7. You hate spending time with people from your own Greek chapter- they are so boring!
6. You are a Very Important Person and you have better people to spend time with than, you know, God.
5. You already know everything there is to know about God and the Bible.
4. Your life is perfect, you have no struggles and you don't need anyone to pray for you.
3. You don't like talking to other people about things that are deep and lasting.
2. You think this world is fine the way it is; it doesn't seem at all broken or messed up, so there is no need to talk about how we can help make it better.
1. 3932 Spruce and Phi Psi are way too far to walk. Why couldn't they pick a more central location to have these small groups?

The More the Merrier
Do you have friends that attend one of these fine Ivy League institutions that also has Greek life? (Princeton, Brown, Cornell...) What about friends who are Greek at other fine northeastern universities (University of Delaware, Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell, Boston University, MIT, NYU...) If so, invite them to Greek Conference! The more the merrier.
This is the first northeastern Greek Conference and you are a part of building the momentum of Greek IV in the northeast...so get on it! Invite your friends from back home and have a good ole' high school reunion at Greek Conference!
